Ingredients:
1 cup: Sweet Potatoes
1/3 cup: Tomatoes
1 Teaspoon: Oil
1/4 Teaspoon: Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
1/4 Teaspoon: Red Chili Powder (Lal Mirch)
1/2 Teaspoon: Turmeric (Haldi)
1/4 Teaspoon: Ginger (Adrak)
1 Clove: Garlic (Lahsan)
1/2 Cup: Water
Salt to Taste
Method:
- Add Oil, Cumin Seeds, Red Chili Powder, Turmeric, Ginger, Salt, Garlic and Tomatoe
- Saute for minute or so
- Add Sweet Potatoes and Saute for about a minute
- Add water and cook on medium to low heat till it starts boiling.
- Pressure cook for 3 whistles. Let it rest for 10 minutes or till the pressure cooker cools down. If you don't have a pressure cooker, you can cook on Medium to low heat in a pan till sweet potatoes are soft and tender
- Serve
